Pondering the perspective

Reflection is an important process for learning and personal growth. It allows individuals to analyze their experiences and understand how they have affected their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Reflecting on what you have learned in school can help you to better understand the material, retain the information longer, and apply it to real-world situations.

Becoming a better person is a lifelong journey that requires self-reflection, self-awareness, and a willingness to change. Learning how to become a better person involves understanding one's own values and beliefs, and making conscious choices that align with those values. It also involves learning how to empathize with others, communicate effectively, and manage emotions. One way to work on becoming a better person is to set personal goals, such as practicing kindness, forgiveness, or gratitude. It's also important to surround oneself with people who are positive and supportive, and who will encourage growth and personal development. Additionally, learning how to become a better person may require learning and practicing new skills such as active listening, compromise, and conflict resolution.

One app, notepad, however it offers a lot. Learning how to utilize has been amazing because I've learnt more about computers and how notepads operates.

To improve is to change; reinvent yourself

The new year’s resolution is a portion I want to achieve. It is what I promised myself at the end of the year. It is a good time as I learn from my past mistakes and set new goals.

Essentially, we want to change in some way. Sometimes it’s big changes and sometimes small. The start of anything that makes us better is always a good thing. Staying the same not only will produce the same results, but in many cases we will go backwards. So it is with our faith lives. Our faith should be nourished every day. Without this added attention, our faith will dim and the ways of the world will take up a bigger piece of our thoughts.

More over, I am committed to achieving my academic and personal objectives as a student in 2023. I am always seeking for ways to challenge myself and grow, and I am continuously trying to better myself and learn new things. Making my everyday routine more organized and disciplined is one of my New Year's resolutions for 2023. I want to make sure that I am prioritizing my obligations and tasks in a way that enables me to accomplish my goals, and that I am using my time effectively and efficiently.

Overall, I am committed to making positive changes in myself and my life in 2023, and I am confident that I can achieve my goals with hard work and dedication.

At Christmas, all roads lead home

With a focus on the Covid virus, we are preoccupied with guidelines on how to celebrate Christmas this year– with only members of the family who are living in the same household, to continue wearing masks, observe social distancing, or to wash hands frequently.  We are being discouraged from visiting one another for our mutual protection and safety.  The usual Christmas glee and merriment that we have been accustomed to is not possible this year.

But our celebration of Christmas should not be dampened by Covid! Let us spread more hope, peace, joy and love this Season!

I am quite appreciative that face-to-face classes were introduced this academic year. I get to relive my high school experience and see how students interact in the classroom. I get to meet new individuals who have since become friends, but most importantly, I get to relive the Christmas program after a two-year hiatus. I enjoyed hanging out with my classmates because we were able to share stories and lessons that I can use in my daily life.

Because my mother would be exhausted from cooking and baking all of the orders from the clients, we would always eat dinner at 8:00 on Christmas Eve.

I'm still appreciative that we can share a meal and make memories together, though. I visited my family, who live nearby, after we finished eating. We are now prepared to eat after they arrived from the church at around 12 o'clock. And that pretty much sums up how I spent my Christmas.

Christmas celebrations aren't about how luxurious they are; they're about how you connect with your loved ones and share new experiences.

Be the one

Young entrepreneurs are individuals who start their own businesses at a relatively early age. They are driven by a desire to be their own boss, a passion for their industry, and the ambition to create something new. They often have fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, and they are willing to take risks to turn their dreams into reality. Despite the challenges they face, such as limited resources and lack of experience, young entrepreneurs have been able to achieve great success. They are a vital part of the economy and contribute to job creation and economic growth. With the right mindset, skills, and support, young entrepreneurs can create thriving businesses and make a positive impact on the world.

Watching a food booth can be a lot of fun, especially if you're a food lover. There's something about the sights, smells, and sounds of a busy food booth that can be incredibly engaging. You can watch as the cooks and vendors prepare a variety of dishes, from classic street foods like arozcaldo and miki to more classic Ilocano dishes like longganisa, empanada and bagnet. The sights and smells of the food can be tantalizing, and it can be fun to watch the vendors work their magic as they flip, stir, and plate the food. The hustle and bustle of the booth can also add to the excitement, as customers line up to order and enjoy their meals. Overall, watching a food booth can be a great way to experience new and interesting foods, while also enjoying the energy and atmosphere of a busy street vendor scene.

Young entrepreneurs can teach us valuable lessons about innovation, risk-taking, and perseverance. They often have fresh perspectives and new ideas, which can inspire us to think differently and challenge the status quo. Additionally, the drive and determination that young entrepreneurs possess can be contagious, motivating us to pursue our own passions and goals with greater vigor. Furthermore, the struggles and challenges that young entrepreneurs face can serve as valuable lessons in resilience and resourcefulness. Overall, observing the successes and failures of young entrepreneurs can be a powerful source of inspiration and learning for anyone looking to start or grow their own business.

There are several ways that we can apply the learnings from young entrepreneurs in our daily lives. One of the most important things we can do is to stay open to new ideas and perspectives. This means being willing to question assumptions, try new things, and think outside the box. Additionally, we can practice taking calculated risks, even when the outcome is uncertain. This can be as simple as trying a new recipe, taking a different route to work, or pursuing a new hobby. Another important aspect is to stay persistent and keep going even when things get tough. Young entrepreneurs often have to deal with setbacks and failures, but they don't let that stop them from achieving their goals. We can also apply this mindset to our own lives and keep pushing forward, even when things don't go as planned. Finally, we can also learn from the young entrepreneurs in terms of networking, building and maintaining relationships, and learning from others. By emulating these behaviors, we can cultivate our own entrepreneurial spirit and achieve success in our daily lives.

Celebrate the future - today!

Across the world, many children are experiencing poverty, abuse, and violence. Children living in poverty experience the daily impacts like hunger, illness, insecurity, instability but they are also more likely to experience low academic achievement, obesity, behavioral problems and social and emotional development difficulties.

The focus of National Children’s Month is to offer help to those children who suffered from abuse, poverty, natural calamities, and violence. This month long celebration gives Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare.  National Children’s Month is celebrated in November in the Philippines every year. The Philippines first adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations on November 20, 1989. By 2015, late Philippine President Benigno Aquino III made November the official National Children’s Month in the Philippines under the Republic Act No. 10661.

According to Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, once said that the youth is the future of the nation, and investing in children is key for the betterment of the next generation. The next leaders of our world are the children. We should hone them and give them access to education and a safe environment to make their future brighter. National Children’s Month is a team effort within the community. It’s inspiring to see people joining hands in making this celebration possible.

Reflection

This quarter is extremely impressive for us, especially it's our first time to be in school after 2 years of having online school. We met people that turned into friendship, who can be our support system.

We've put a lot of effort, tears and sweat into our school performance. We tend to put in a lot of effort, sacrifice, and responsibility in everything we do in order to achieve our goal especially we are in Special Mathematics Class.

It's fun to be a student. We faced many challenges during the months of the journey, and I enjoyed spending time with my friends. We make a lot of memories. Every moment we spend together was cherished. This grade has been an incredible and rewarding experience.
